Mama of 5 and Portrait Photographer!
Hello! Welcome and thanks for checking out my blog! Blogging is something I've always avoided getting into, but it seems that with a photography business it helps for people to know a little about me(who knew?)! I'll skip to the important stuff (don't wanna keep you longer than necessary ;) ).
So, about me... I married the love of my life on 9-10-11. I wanted a unique date that would be easy to remember(for me y'all, cause I'm the one that will forget...). We have moved 5 times, have been through 2 deployments and have had 5 children. We have three boys and two girls and they range from 8 years to 1 year. They are my dream come true and I love that I can stay home with them and homeschool the older two(so far).
I'm what you could consider semi-crunchy(that's a thing, right?). I love baby-wearing, cloth diapers, and natural remedies. But I also appreciate the practice of modern medicine and I don't hesitate to use it when my family is in need.
Family Life!
First of all, I don't have it "all together". Who does? But I do try my best to set a good example for my children and work together with my husband to keep our life in flowing with harmony as much as possible.
I couldn't do any of this without my husband, who is everything that I am not. He balances me in so many ways and supports me endlessly in my photography business (Thanks babe!).
I currently stay home with our babies, I homeschool our two oldest and I work my photography business around our family schedule.
My husband works full-time, cooks dinner(I basically married a chef), and keeps the kids for me to do photoshoots. Life is good.
Photography!
I am excited about growing my photography business more in the coming year and focusing more on my specialty. I absolutely love doing maternity, newborn and motherhood sessions.
One of the most meaningful sessions I have ever had done was our last family session. I specifically asked my photographer to get some shots of me breastfeeding. I have breastfed all 5 of my babies, so it was something special for me to have documented. Countless hours spent nursing my sweet babes. I am so glad to have the pictures from my photoshoot to remember this precious time in my life.
